The Nebulizer Mask is a mask used with a nebulizer device to convert medication solution into vapor or aerosol with very small and fine particles, making it easy to inhale by the patient or user through respiration into the lungs.
Application
These general instructions are intended for medical personnel:
Place the prescribed medication into the nebulizer cup (maximum 6 cc).
Securely close the nebulizer cup.
Connect one end of the tubing to the connector at the base of the nebulizer.
Connect the other end of the tubing to the connector where the pressure source is located.
Adjust the oxygen flow within the range of 5-6 LPM and check the flow rate using available equipment.
Attach the mask to the patient's face by securing the straps behind the ears and around the back of the patient's head.
Adjust the straps slowly to ensure the nebulizer mask is properly fitted.
Adjust the metal strip on the mask to sit properly on the patient's nose.
