Argon Peduli Hosts Health Screenings for Scholarly Well-being

PT Djembatan Dua , through Argon Peduli, collaborated with Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Yogyakarta City to organize health screenings and free consultations for the Civitas Academica of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). In addition to strengthening long-established relationships, the high prevalence of hypertension, diabetes, and cholesterol in Indonesia remains a key concern for the company.

The health screenings covered three main tests: hypertension, blood sugar, and cholesterol. Through this initiative, Argon Peduli emphasized the importance of taking preventive measures to address the risks of chronic diseases and encouraged greater awareness of maintaining health.

Representatives from PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) Yogyakarta Branch, PT Djembatan Dua, and Argon Peduli participated as volunteers in this health screening.

“Through this health screening, aligned with our core value of 'Deal with Care,' Argon Peduli aims to promote preventive measures against diseases, particularly chronic illnesses,” said Mrs. Nancy Kartika, HR Director of PT Medela Potentia.

A total of 130 participants, including the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at UGM, Prof. Dr. apt. Satibi, M.Si.; the Head of the Pharmacy Program, apt. Anna Wahyuni Widayanti, MPH, Ph.D.; along with other faculty members and staff, took part in the health checks held in the lobby of the APSLC Auditorium at UGM. The health screening helped raise awareness about the importance of regular health monitoring, which positively impacts the quality of life for the Civitas Academica of the Faculty of Pharmacy at UGM.

“Kegiatan ini bermanfaat sekali apalagi dengan dengan usia saya sekarang memang sudah harus cek rutin untuk mencegah penyakit -penyakit kita kenal menjadi penyebab kematian tertinggi tidak hanya di Indonesia dan dunia,” kata salah satu dosen Ibu Muvita Rina Wati.
